Senior Director, Joint Philanthropy Strategy & Program Management

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is a leading institution focused on cancer care, research, education, and prevention. The Senior Director, Joint Philanthropy Strategy & Program Management plays a critical leadership role in advancing philanthropic initiatives that support Kinder Children's Cancer Center, a joint venture between UT MD Anderson and Texas Children's Hospital.

Within the department, the Senior Director, Joint Philanthropy Strategy & Program Management serves as the dedicated strategic and operational partner to philanthropy leadership. The Senior Director, Joint Philanthropy Strategy & Program Management leads cross-functional collaboration, supports organizational governance, and drives the successful execution of fundraising initiatives across UT MD Anderson and Texas Children's Hospital. The Senior Director, Joint Philanthropy Strategy & Program Management also provides strategic consultation, executive communications support, and operational leadership to advance shared philanthropic objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience leading complex philanthropic, fundraising, operational, or strategic initiatives across multiple stakeholders and organizations. Success in this role requires expertise in executive communication, governance, project management, donor engagement, organizational leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. Education, experience, and certification requirements were not provided; therefore, candidates should demonstrate qualifications aligned with senior-level strategy, philanthropy, and program management leadership responsibilities.

Minimum $105.77/hour – Midpoint $120.67/hour – Maximum $135.58/hour Work Location: Remote Typical Work Schedule: Days

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Required: Twelve years direct fundraising experience and four years of supervisory experience.
