Salary Range: $45,760 - $68,640 Annual

Job Summary: Under direction of the Director of Therapy & Wellness, the Athletic Trainer provides immediate assessment, care and rehabilitation of athletic injuries; counsels athletes, coaches and parents in various health-related areas; and provides preventative advice on athletic trauma or conditions that adversely affect health or performance of the athlete. The Athletic Trainer will also represent Rainy Lake Medical Center in a positive and professional manner while providing athletic trainer coverage for local or regional high school and college athletic programs as determined appropriate by RLMC.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Maintain Current MN Athletic Trainer License

• Maintain current certification and continuing education requirements as set forth by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification

• BCLS certification (or the ability to become certified)

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in athletic training

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 or 2 years of experience in athletic training setting

Minimum Education Required
