In this full-time role (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday), you'll take on the challenge of guiding students through math concepts, building problem-solving abilities, and preparing them for future academic and life achievements. The assignment runs until late May 2027, aligning with the school calendar.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education Certification (required; not accepting candidates with Temporary Authority to Teach)
• Demonstrated experience teaching math at the high school level
• Prepared to complete drug screening and fingerprinting as part of credentialing
• Adaptable attitude, ready to engage and motivate diverse learners
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging math instruction to high school students, adapting methods to various learning styles
• Develop and implement lesson plans in alignment with educational standards
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback
