TRIO Project Coordinator

TRIO Project Coordinator The TRIO Project Coordinator serves as the primary resource for Student Success Services (SSS) participants throughout their college career. This role manages day‑to‑day operations, oversees the implementation of the TRIO‑SSS grant, and ensures compliance with federal requirements. Key duties include managing the participant intake pipeline, maintaining digital infrastructure, conducting outreach, and providing secondary advising through the "Passport to Success" curriculum. Responsibilities Recruit applicants, verify eligibility, and interview candidates for the TRIO SSS Program. Communicate with SSS participants who are not currently in Good Academic Standing. Meet with SSS participants to complete the Passport to Success. Create and update participant files. Serve as a secondary advisor for SSS participants. Advertise TRIO SSS to prospective students and the general campus community. Minimum Education & Experience Master's or terminal degree. 2+ years of experience in higher education. Proficiency in data collection and database management. Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Prior experience working with TRIO or other college access programs for low‑income and first‑generation students. Knowledge of case management services and advising students on college course selection, financial aid application processes, and graduate school or career exploration. Knowledge of student information systems. Excellent written and oral communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences and campus stakeholders.
