Responsibilities
- Assess patient and family needs; collaborate with the care team to develop and adjust a risk-based plan of care
- Administer medications and provide direct, evidence-based nursing care per order sets and protocols
- Monitor patients, including telemetry for cardiac status; promptly respond to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on self-care, discharge planning, and health maintenance post-hospitalization
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes; participate in rounds and care coordination
- Promote safety, infection prevention, and a healing environment; mentor and collaborate with team members as appropriate

Requirements
- Active New York State RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of med/surg nursing experience; telemetry monitoring experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting with rotating day/night shifts; ability to work holidays as needed
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in NYS
