Charter Communications - Charlotte candidates only. 100% on site (work location is 9300 Arrowpoint Blvd Charlotte NC). Temp-to-perm in 6 months. 2 step interview process (phone followed by in person).

What You’ll Do

• Build, maintain, and scale processes to deliver well-defined, transformed, tested, documented and code-reviewed data to business users and downstream systems to help the company strategically use data to operate and grow the business.
• Will work on high impact projects that improve data availability and quality and provide reliable access to data for the rest of the business.
• Applies software engineering methodologies and business logic to produce and maintain analytics code used to transform raw data into consumable information.
• Responsible for implementation and support of ETL, monitoring and reporting processes.
• Analyze data system integration challenges and propose optimized solutions.
• Provide technical leadership in all phases of a project from discovery and planning through implementation and delivery.
• Design, develop, implement, and support new and existing enterprise data mart using Teradata Stored Procedures
• Write complex SQLs using joins, sub queries and SQL queries for cross verification of data
• Provide data extracts and metrics to answer business questions in a timely manner.
• Communicate complex topics and analyses to non-technical business personnel.

• Familiarity with Unix systems, shell scripting, and Git.
• Strong understanding of data quality testing.
• Can articulate advantages and disadvantages of data design approaches and modeling methodologies.
• Possesses the ability to evaluate business needs and translate them into appropriate data designs.
• Experienced across all phases of data modeling, from conceptual designs to physical designs.
• Able to write coherent technical documentation.
• Able to present analytics concepts to clients.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex problems for non-technical stakeholders and build great working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Able to build trust and respect, establish relationships, and develop rapport with technical and non-technical team members.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Bachelor's Degree in quantitative field.

Must Haves:
