Accounting Associate

We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join our Charlotte team. This is a hands-on role with significant exposure to Colville's Partners, investors, and portfolio companies and an opportunity to help build and strengthen the financial processes of a growing investment firm. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, month-end close, financial reporting, cash flow, and treasury. Coordinate tax preparation and filings with external advisors, including partnership returns and K-1s. Manage investor capital calls, distributions, LP records, and investor reporting. Support administration of the Juniper Square investor portal. Prepare quarterly and annual financial and investor reports. Support management fee and carried interest calculations. Manage the quarterly portfolio valuation process and coordinate with external valuation providers. Monitor portfolio company performance and maintain investment-level reporting, including IRR and MOIC. Work directly with Colville's Partners and external accounting, tax, audit, and legal partners. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and partnership/fund accounting. Experience with capital calls, distributions, and LP reporting. Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capabilities. Experience with QuickBooks and/or Juniper Square is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and professional judgment. A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset and comfort working within a lean, entrepreneurial team.
