Student Worker - Auxiliary Enterprises

Join our Auxiliary Enterprises team as a Student Worker and gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting essential campus services. This position provides operational and customer service support for parking services, meal plans and ID cards.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service by answering phones, greeting guests, and responding to inquiries.
• Monitor department email throughout each shift and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records for inventory, management reports, and supply needs.
• Manage and track payments related to ID cards and meal plans.
• Support Florida Poly Card operations, including photo review, card production and card issuance.
• Operate university vehicle throughout campus to support parking enforcement activities and ensure compliance with university parking regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of office and department vehicles
• Operate university shuttle vehicles as needed
• Stay up to date with university policies, maintain confidentiality, and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to learn new technologies and software quickly and thoroughly.
• Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot in an efficient manner.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Skill in typing, use of computer/software, especially Microsoft Office Suite
• Excel proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and tracking ability.
• Knowledge of standard office machines and equipment.
• Work effectively in a team environment as well as independently while following through on assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• During the academic year must be enrolled at least half-time as a student at Florida Polytechnic University.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.25 and have successfully completed 9 credits or more in the most recent fall or spring semester with a GPA of 2.0 or better.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Normal Work Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week.

Target Hiring Salary: $14.25 hourly.
