Human Resources Coordinator

In a fast-moving and collaborative environment such as a tool like Driving Directions, the Human Resources Coordinator supports daily HR functions while helping maintain a productive and positive workplace. This role works closely with teams including game design, development, QA, community, and marketing to ensure smooth staffing, onboarding, and employee support. Area Tasks Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Support the creation and posting of job advertisements across recruitment platforms. Review resumes and assist in shortlisting candidates. Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with applicants. Prepare onboarding documentation including contracts, confidentiality agreements, welcome kits, and training schedules. Assist in onboarding new employees and ensuring access to required systems and tools. Employee Data Management Maintain accurate employee records in digital and internal databases. Update HR systems related to attendance, leave requests, employee status, and evaluations. Ensure employee data privacy and confidentiality standards are maintained. Employee Support & Communication Assist employees with routine HR inquiries regarding policies, leave, benefits, and procedures. Support employee orientation and integration activities. Help communicate company announcements, internal policies, and workplace initiatives. HR Administration & Operations Prepare reports related to employee headcount, attendance, turnover, and HR activities. Support payroll-related administration including attendance tracking and timesheet validation. Coordinate internal workshops, training sessions, employee engagement activities, and team events. Assist in ensuring HR compliance with labor regulations and company guidelines. Department Collaboration Coordinate with departments such as programming, design, art, QA, and marketing to understand hiring needs. Support logistics for onboarding technical employees, including account access, equipment, and software permissions. Assist managers with scheduling and workforce planning when needed. HR Process Improvement Help identify areas to improve HR workflows and internal processes. Assist in updating internal policies, employee handbooks, and HR documentation. Support data collection for HR insights, including employee engagement and recruitment effectiveness. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, Administration, or related field preferred. Experience 1–2 years of experience in HR, office administration, recruitment, or employee support roles preferred. Experience in gaming, software, startups, or creative industries is considered an advantage. Skills & Competencies Strong organizational, multitasking, and coordination skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. High level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with HR software or applicant tracking systems is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments. Additional Requirements Basic understanding of employment regulations and workplace compliance.
