Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Start Date: Flexible based on candidate availability

End Date/Duration: Full-time ongoing role

Shift: Rotating shifts, Monday-Friday, operating room coverage

Hours/week: Approximately 40 hours

Employment Type: Full-time

Licenses/Certifications: AANP, ANCC, BLS (AHA), DEA, Board Certified

Experience: Cardiac or cardiovascular surgery, ICU patient management

Salary: Between $100,588 and $143,769 annually, based on experience

What You'll Do

• Provide advanced, compassionate care for cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Assist in cardiac surgeries, including performing endoscopic vein harvesting and assisting in procedures
• Manage ICU and post-op cardiovascular surgical patients; participate in rounding and evaluations
• Conduct clinics twice weekly and support additional patient needs
• Rotate through operating room coverage from Monday to Friday
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement patient care plans and follow-up procedures
• Prescribe medications in compliance with regulations
• Perform bedside procedures as needed
• Document all patient care accurately and promptly
• Demonstrate expert clinical judgment and operate independently under supervision
• Maintain ongoing education to meet licensing and registry requirements
• Adapt seamlessly to a dynamic, high-stress clinical environment

What You Need

• Current licensure and certifications: AANP/ANCC, BLS (AHA), DEA, Board Certified
• Experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery and ICU patient management
