What You'll Do

• Provide advanced nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in the MICU setting
• Monitor and manage ventilators, IV starts, and complex medication regimens
• Perform procedures such as pulmonary artery catheter placement, arterial pressure monitoring, chest tubes, and central venous catheters
• Administer chemotherapy and participate in clinical trials as applicable
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic charting system
• Respond to patient emergencies promptly and effectively

What You Need

• Valid Ohio nursing license or Compact license
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a MICU setting
• Proficiency with vents, IV starts, and computerized charting in EPIC
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
