Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings of school-aged clients to identify mental health concerns and inform personalized treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies that address the unique challenges and goals of each student.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the specific needs of students.

• Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, including teachers, school administrators, and external health providers, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with students facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related conditions. This role emphasizes cultural competence and the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds, providing tailored support that respects their unique experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; a higher degree will be viewed favorably.

• At least two years of direct experience in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Proven expertise in evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities suitable for children and adolescents.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish a rapport with clients, families, and team members.
