Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of student mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and interviews to establish clear diagnostic impressions.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect the unique goals and needs of each student, incorporating various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based approaches.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, focusing on areas such as trauma recovery, anxiety management, and depression intervention.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress towards therapeutic goals on a regular basis, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Offer teletherapy sessions to accommodate students who may face accessibility challenges in attending traditional in-person sessions.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions and treatment outcomes to uphold ethical standards and comply with organizational policies and legal requirements.

• Engage in continuous professional development, staying current with best practices, emerging therapies, and relevant research in the field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be supporting students from diverse backgrounds facing various mental health challenges. You will work with individuals experiencing issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, behavioral problems, and other complexities that can impact their academic and social lives. Our goal is to deliver a safe and supportive therapeutic experience, empowering students to navigate these challenges constructively.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license to practice as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, schools, and parents.

• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to client care.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Although not mandatory, previous experience working in a school setting or with adolescents is preferred. Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and collaborative problem-solving methods will be beneficial in this environment. Experience with electronic health records and telehealth platforms is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with your experience and caseload. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
