Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, evaluating the specific mental and emotional needs of students, taking into account their overall health and well-being.

• Develop, implement, and manage personalized treatment plans that address both psychiatric and physical health needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique circumstances of each student.

• Collaborate effectively with teachers, school administrators, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure effective treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to students experiencing acute mental health episodes.
\n
• Educate students and their families on the interconnectedness of mental and physical health, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation adhering to ethical and legal standards, ensuring the protection of sensitive information.

• Participate frequently in interdisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and care planning discussions to enhance treatment strategies.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and integrated care practices to continuously improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support school-aged children and adolescents, many of whom may face social, emotional, and academic challenges. Our patient population often includes individuals with co-occurring medical conditions such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and chronic illnesses. By understanding their unique experiences, you will play a crucial role in providing targeted mental health interventions that facilitate their growth and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LPCC licensure in the state of California.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in providing mental health services, particularly to individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and their families.
\n
• Proficiency in maintaining professional boundaries and ensuring patient confidentiality in all interactions.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and computer applications relevant to documentation and care coordination.
\n
• Strong capability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve comprehensive care goals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
