Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students to identify their individual needs and develop effective, personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy for individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate the creation and management of psychoeducational groups and support sessions tailored to common student mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and mental health professionals to ensure students receive coordinated care that supports their educational and emotional needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring students feel safe and supported.

• Educate students and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources that can assist with their challenges.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to share insights and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on school-aged children and adolescents who are dealing with a range of mental health issues. As a licensed mental health therapist, you will work with students facing challenges such as emotional disturbances, learning difficulties rooted in mental health conditions, and social anxiety, helping them achieve better academic and personal outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Washington State.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches suited for a young clientele.

• Proven experience in the development and implementation of personalized mental health treatment plans.

• Demonstrated ability to facilitate both individual and group therapy, with effectiveness across diverse populations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.

• Strong ethical judgment and respect for confidentiality and professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital data management tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
