Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group per established standards and the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and document outcomes.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment to prioritize care and ensure patient safety.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California (or appropriate eligibility for CA practice)
• Graduation from an accredited RN program
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts on a travel assignment
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital-based setting and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
