Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for oncology patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Provide direct patient care for an assigned group of oncology patients
- Administer medications and therapies per orders; monitor responses and document findings
- Assess patient status, plan and implement care, and re-evaluate as needed; coordinate with other disciplines
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; exercise critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making
- Communicate with patients and families, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care

Requirements
- Active RN license (California)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred, ADN acceptable
- Oncology experience or medical-surgical/acute care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an inpatient setting
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and complete credentialing per assignment requirements
