Registered Nurse – Oncology | Hanford, California | Travel - Temporary Assignment

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; maintain effective team communication.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.
- Administer medications, monitor responses, document accurately, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Communicate with patients, families, and the care team; provide education as appropriate; ensure continuity of care through proper handoffs.

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California
- Oncology nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and accommodate dayshift schedule
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for an 8-week contract
