Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient needs, plan and implement care, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes; administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; provide guidance and support to ensure safe, effective care.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines; participate in rounds and family conferences; communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment to manage complex clinical scenarios.
- Ensure documentation reflects clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses, maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; 36 hours per week in a fast-paced oncology/acute care setting
- Willingness to participate in a short-term travel assignment and adapt to a new care environment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
