Senior Accountant

Our client is currently seeking a highly professional Internal Controller to oversee their financial operations with precision and integrity. Responsibilities Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure accounting activities comply with established legal regulations and company policies. Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or international financial reporting standards (IFRS). Coordinate practices and initiatives to meet compliance standards with external auditors and underwriting entities. Oversee litigation issues related to claims, ensuring proper adjustment and settlement within policy limits and company guidelines. Recommend improvements to reduce costs, enhance revenue, and ensure quality, safety, and customer service standards are met. Manage and support the activities of the finance department, contribute toward process improvements, and maintain an environment of robust financial governance. Key Skills / Qualifications Proven expertise as a Claims Adjuster with comprehensive understanding of policy interpretation, claim law, and insurance regulations. Strong experience in handling and overseeing litigation processes, especially those related to insurance claims. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills necessary to provide financial reporting and forecasting. Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Highly effective communication skills, capable of handling high-level communications with internal and external stakeholders.
