IT Technician

Job Description Spectrum is seeking a highly motivated IT Technician to reside in our New York City office. Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Technician will have a working knowledge and experience of: Office 365 Active Directory PC hardware, network printing, VoIP phone systems Virtualization WAN/LAN/Cloud network technologies and infrastructure devices (i.e. Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN, AP, etc.) The successful individual will also need to be able to support/troubleshoot: Windows Server Apple laptop/desktop computers and devices (macOS and iOS) AV systems (office TVs, projectors, conference room systems, etc.) Adobe Creative Cloud products Qualifications Qualified candidates are expected to have strong skills in solving complex technical problems, supporting a request ticketing system and managing/prioritizing workload and multiple support requests. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be detailed oriented with excellent customer service skills and showcase the ability to be a team player while working independently. Experience training users and providing limited user support after hours is required. All applicants must have at least 2 years working in general IT and Helpdesk with at least 1-2 years’ experience supporting Windows 7, 10 and Office products.
