Step into a rewarding school-based position supporting students’ growth as a Speech Language Pathologist for the remainder of the school year. This opportunity focuses on collaboration and direct impact within a K–12 educational environment, working with a diverse caseload of 46 students. The contract role has the potential for extension into the following school year based on performance and district needs.
What You'll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Washington State SLP license
- Experience or strong interest in serving pediatric and school-age populations
- Familiarity with teletherapy, clinical fellowship year (CFY), or SLPA supervision a plus
- Ability to work effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
- Adaptability and a solution-focused mindset
Your Day-to-Day:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders in K–12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy, including teletherapy as appropriate
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support student growth and communication goals from ASAP through the end of the school year
