Staff Accountant

We are seeking an analytical, organized, and collaborative Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations of a multi-location organization. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Compensation And Benefits $25-$35 per hour based on experience Full-Time - non-exempt Full Benefits (Medical, Dental, and Vision) 401(k) + Paid Time Off + Holidays Ongoing training and support Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, some overtime may be required. Possible hybrid schedule to be considered. Location 333 West City Center W, Suite 333, Orange, CA 92868 Qualifications Required Bachelor’s or equivalent degree from an accredited university in business, accounting, Finance, or related field of study 2+ years of accounting/finance related experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups and other formulas) Experience using Business Central and other accounting systems – a plus Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Preferred Manufacturing, automotive, fleet, or multi-location business experience CPA designation or CPA candidate Experience with acquisitions or consolidations Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP Job Duties Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Perform balance sheet and bank account reconciliations Analyze financial data and investigate variances Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules Prepare and create journal entries Support external audits and provide requested documentation Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls Help improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting Perform under deadlines and demonstrate willingness to work long hours if needed to complete projects on time Participate in special projects and acquisitions integration efforts Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer.
