About the Opportunity The Staff Accountant is responsible for AR, AP processing, data entry and invoicing. The position also reviews and verifies AR information, resolves any discrepancies and performs other tasks to ensure that payments are collected in a timely manner. What You'll Do Payment processing, AR account analysis and payment processing Calculates monthly sales commissions and posts general entries Generate and issue customer invoices Monitor aging reports and follow up on past‐due accounts Resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries Conduct expense variance analysis and provide cost savings advice to management Assist in timely and accurate month‑end and year‑end closing Project monthly financial statements and other required reports under strict deadlines Perform other duties as needed What You'll Bring Ability to excel in a fast paced environment High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Excellent organizational, time management and follow‑up skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Team player and collaboration skills Use of AI and programming (Python, C++) Education and Experience Recent BA or BS in Accounting or business understanding of accounting Experience with ERP systems preferred (Sage 100 a plus) Schedule Monday through Friday 1st Shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm Overtime as required Job Type Full‑Time / Permanent On Site Compensation California Pay Range: $65,000—$75,000 USD. The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
