Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic and comprehensive care.
\n
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records while adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems to manage documentation and client information.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and staying updated on the latest research and advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds and present a wide range of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. Your role will focus on understanding their unique experiences and providing tailored therapeutic support that promotes their personal growth and emotional healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of New Jersey is essential.

• At least 2 years of professional experience providing counseling services, preferably in a clinical or community health setting.

• Familiarity with ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practices is critical.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n
