Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Job Type: Temporary with potential for permanent hire
Job Overview
We are seeking a computer-friendly, detail-oriented Data Entry / Office Assistant to join a small manufacturing office in Pinellas Park. This position will support a large data entry project involving barcoding and updating inventory records, along with general office duties.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with computers, staying organized, and helping keep an office running smoothly. The assignment is temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate!
Responsibilities
Enter and update inventory information accurately in computer systems.
Assist with a large-scale barcoding project and inventory file updates.
Process customer orders and maintain accurate records.
Assist with invoicing and light bookkeeping tasks.
Perform general office duties, including filing and document organization.
Use Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and recordkeeping.
Provide occasional telephone support; phone traffic is very light.
Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Comfortable using computers and learning new software or systems.
Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is helpful.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain flexible as priorities change.
Previous office, data entry, order processing, or bookkeeping experience is a plus.
