WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full Time Audit Technician for our Albuquerque, NM office. Be involved in projects with our PMCM Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact

• Performing highway construction project audits verifying project documents, including monthly contractor estimates, overrun/underrun explanations, project summary, as-built plans, source documents, etc.
• Reviewing plans, specifications, special provisions and contract documents to determine project requirements format both hard copy and electronically.
• Auditing cooperative and school bus route agreements for payment to local entities.
• Processing the contractor's monthly progress payments and vouchers for payment.
• Preparing audit reports noting discrepancies and documenting corrective action required; verify project records, including computer records, account numbers and codes, verify working days summaries, verify pay quantities, legal loads and documentation consultant's change orders, subcontracts, tax rates payments, total payments against individual accounts and contractor's payroll.
• Assures that contractor's documentation is in compliance with all department policies and procedures, including disadvantaged business goal requirements, EEO requirements, wage rates, etc.
• Shall be Site Manger literate, be able to establish computerized project data files, generate computerized change order lists; audits lists, refines project computer forms and programs.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of highway/bridge construction experience.
• Experienced in the use of Site Manager.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
