Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, inclusive of physical exams and comprehensive medical history analyses
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging and laboratory results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide in-the-moment support during operations, including preparing surgical rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and handling surgical instruments as needed
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
