Payroll Specialist

Job Title: Payroll Specialist Location: Thornton, CO (in-office) Pay Rate: $55,000-65,000, dependent on experience Benefits: Health/dental/vision/401K eligible We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with 1–3 years of experience to support full-cycle, multi-state weekly payroll operations in a compliance-driven environment. Construction industry experience is preferred. Responsibilities Process full-cycle, multi-state weekly payroll for approximately 300 employees accurately and on schedule Lead certified payroll submissions in compliance with federal, state, and local prevailing wage requirements Manage union payroll across seven unions including pipe, steel, and related trades Prepare, verify, and submit reports in LCP Tracker and other public works reporting systems including DOL and WH-347 Complete Owner-Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) reporting Support all regulatory reporting requirements including prevailing wage, certified payroll, tax filings, and project-specific obligations Maintain thorough payroll records to support audits, compliance reviews, and retention requirements Requirements 1–3 years of payroll processing experience required Familiarity with multi-state payroll and payroll compliance Strong attention to detail and ability to meet weekly deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with ComputerEase or LCP Tracker preferred Construction, union, or prevailing wage experience preferred but not required Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
