Job DescriptionAramark Student Nutrition provides food and nutrition services to over 350 school districts in the U.S. It offers public and private education institutions a variety of dining options including breakfast and lunch programs, after-school snacks, catering, nutrition education and retail operations. This role serves as a liaison between Aramark’s Marketing team and client’s account locations, ensuring that client and consumers’ needs are met, while adhering to Aramark standards. This role will also focus on proactive innovation and customer satisfaction within the client account, using insights to drive promotions and progress. Job ResponsibilitiesConducts Marketing Research and Data collection: Focus groups, surveying, campus mapping, trend development/research, a la carte pricing analysisStrategic Planning, Innovation and Creativity: Develop Marketing Plans; new strategies and tactics for promoting meal growth with additional programming, promotions, etc.Retention Support: Support presentations and Client Business Reviews (CBRs) associated with the client account or district in which the client account residesMarketing: Coordinate special events, promotions, marketing collateral, media interaction, public relations, website updates, social media marketingBuild Relationships with clients, parents, teachers & staff, board members and subgroups/ community groupsMerchandising: ownership of the merchandising of all stations & service areas, with a goal of increasing sales and encouraging students to make a mealClient relationship: this role will connect with clients on a regular basis to present new ideas and plans for delivery on client-driven goals in partnership with the operations teamLooks for opportunities to implement new innovations, technology solutions, products and services which support growth and client retention.Ensure participation in the annual Student ViewPOINT survey & uses results to drive decision-making for menu changes, promotions, programming & more. Shares results with operations team & clientsCommunication: Develop and implement communication strategies that enhance engagement with students, parents, & administrators.Community Engagement: Act as a liaison between the organization and the community, ensuring transparent and consistent communication with parents, teachers, and students.Content Development: Create and manage communication materials, including newsletters, announcements, and social media content, to keep students, parents & administrators informed and engaged.Feedback Mechanisms: Establish channels for feedback from students, parents, and administrators to continually improve communication strategies and address concerns effectively.Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with Aramark and district to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of communication efforts across the organization.  At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. QualificationsRequires at least 3 years of product, marketing and / or merchandising experience A passion for the Hospitality industry, as well as Food and Beverage servicesAbility to work effectively in a heavily matrixed organization & influence without formal authorityRequires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or marketing A proven ability to increase sales and measure the impact/return on investment on implementation of programs A demonstrated ability to be proactive and assertive in identifying and capturing growth opportunities, as well as thinking creatively and strategically Must have excellent interpersonal skills including presentation, public speaking and client interaction skills Must be able to efficiently utilize social media and MS Office products to accomplish work tasks Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and Power Point, Canva, web-based sites, editing and videography.Influencing without formal authority – able to create an informal network to support program pilots, implementation and collection of best practices and measurements.Project management – Multiple tasks will be managed at one time, resulting in a need for strong time management and multi-tasking skills.Valid driver’s license and vehicle Travel Requirement: ~10%EducationAbout AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
