Job Description

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice. This position will primarily support medical malpractice matters along with other types of defense litigation. The Paralegal will work closely with a team of attorneys to assist with case management, research, documentation, filings, and day-to-day litigation support.

Essential Duties:

• Provide paralegal and litigation support for approximately six attorneys

• Assist primarily with medical malpractice and other defense litigation matters

• Prepare deposition summaries and organize case-related information

• Assist with e-filing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Conduct legal and case-related research as requested

• Prepare, proofread, edit, and organize legal documents and correspondence

• Maintain organized electronic and physical case files

• Assist with discovery and document management

• Coordinate case-related communications and follow-up

• Track deadlines and assist attorneys with maintaining timely case progression

• Provide general administrative and litigation support as needed

• Maintain confidentiality of client and case information

Requirements/Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of paralegal or comparable litigation support experience preferred

• Experience with deposition summaries, e-filing, legal research, and litigation documentation

• Defense litigation experience preferred, particularly medical malpractice; candidates with significant plaintiff-side litigation experience will also be considered

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Experience with TrialDirector, NetDocuments, and Juris is a plus

• Strong proofreading, organizational, and document management skills

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases, assignments, and deadlines

• Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic

• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with attorneys and other team members

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Professional judgment and ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
