Quick Facts Location: 4401 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64111 Start Date: ASAP / Upon credentialing End Date: Open-ended; ongoing opportunity Shift: In-house, primarily day shifts (negotiable) Hours/week: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent / W-2 License/Certs: MO Medical License (or eligible), Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology Experience: Prior NICU experience preferred; strong team collaboration skills Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: Competitive salary (discussed during interview) Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Life & Disability Coverage Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) & Health Savings Account (HSA) 401(k) Retirement Plan Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Assistance Supportive work environment focused on work-life balance What You’ll Do Provide expert neonatal care at a busy Level-IIIB NICU (49 beds) Manage critically ill neonates with advanced therapies such as inhaled nitric oxide, HFOV, HFJV, and therapeutic hypothermia Support extremely low gestational age newborns (ELGANs), including infants as young as 22 weeks Collaborate with neonatal nurse practitioners and multidisciplinary teams Contribute to quality improvement initiatives Support and oversee care across multiple units including a Level-IIIA NICU and well-baby units Engage in out-of-house coverage via telehealth as needed Participate in regional neonatal delivery services What You Need Medical license in Missouri (or eligible) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology Strong clinical skills in advanced neonatal therapies Experience with ELGANs and complex NICU cases preferred Team-oriented with excellent communication skills About the Assignment Join a highly respected facility in Kansas City, Missouri, known for its comprehensive neonatal services and dedication to quality care.
