About the role

Clover Restaurants is hiring a part-time Payroll Administrator to run payroll for our three Santa Monica restaurants. You will report to the Owner/Operations Manager. Responsibilities

Process biweekly payroll for all three locations in Toast Payroll/Gusto
Review timecards and fix missed punches with location managers.
Calculate overtime, meal and rest break premiums, and split shift pay under California law.
Coordinate tax filings and W-2s with our payroll provider or accountant.
Prepare labor cost reports by location.
Answer employee questions about pay.
Handling sensitive financial and personal information safely.

Qualifications

2+ years of payroll experience, ideally in restaurants or hospitality.
Working knowledge of California wage-and-hour law.
Experience with ADP, Gusto, Toast Payroll or similar.
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
