Recruiting Coordinator

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Recruiting Coordinator for a fast-growing organization operating within the startup and technology space. This is a full-time, temporary opportunity with potential for temp-to-hire conversion and is onsite in San Francisco, CA. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Recruiting Coordinator will provide hands-on scheduling and recruiting coordination support for a fast-paced team of five recruiters. This position will manage interview logistics, candidate communication, recruiting systems, and administrative details while ensuring an organized and positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable navigating ambiguity, technologically savvy, and ready to quickly become a dependable partner to a growing recruiting team. PERKS: Competitive compensation of up to $45 per hour Potential for temp-to-hire conversion , offering an opportunity for longer-term growth Join a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment with exposure to a high-volume recruiting function Work closely with and support a collaborative team of five recruiters Casual office environment with equipment provided onsite RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple recruiters, candidates, and internal stakeholders, ensuring an efficient and seamless process Manage interview logistics, calendar coordination, candidate communications, confirmations, and scheduling changes Maintain accurate candidate and interview information within Ashby or a comparable applicant tracking/recruiting system Partner closely with a team of five recruiters to prioritize scheduling needs and support ongoing recruiting activities Deliver a professional, responsive, and positive candidate experience throughout the interview process Proactively identify team needs, manage competing priorities, and provide additional recruiting coordination support in a fast-moving startup environment QUALIFICATIONS: Previous professional experience in recruiting coordination , including hands-on interview scheduling and candidate communication Experience using Ashby or a similar recruiting/ATS platform , with the ability to quickly learn and navigate recruiting technology Experience working within a startup, high-growth, or similarly fast-paced environment strongly preferred Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately manage multiple schedules and competing priorities Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working through ambiguity while maintaining strong communication and follow-through COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This temporary position offers compensation of up to $45 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications. The anticipated assignment length is approximately 6 months , with the potential for temp-to-hire conversion based on organizational needs and performance. This is a full-time, onsite position in San Francisco, CA , working Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM .
