Strategy Manager

Job Description Support the Global Enterprise Growth & Partnerships function as a Strategy Manager focused on the Digital (software, technology & media) industry. Report to the Vertical Growth Lead and collaborate with Business Development, Relationship Management, Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams across NORAM, EMEA, APAC and LATAM. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute long‑term goals and strategic objectives to establish Global Payments as a thought leader across the digital industry and grow the vertical globally. Create and maintain a Plan‑to‑Win for the Digital vertical, covering sub‑verticals such as Technology (AI, SaaS, productivity, advertising), Media (streaming, publishing, social media), Digital Health, and others. Develop and communicate a value proposition that positions Global Payments for each sub‑vertical, collaborating with internal stakeholders to define a right‑to‑win strategy. Generate thought leadership content to support sales discussions, customer business reviews, and marketing channels. Define the vertical go‑to‑market strategy—marketing and partnership plans—to target key markets effectively. Lead the organization and execution of vertical‑specific events, both internally and externally. Represent the team at industry conferences and internal events, presenting on vertical trends and Global Payments’ value proposition. Coordinate and execute strategic commercial initiatives to drive vertical growth. Provide support to regional Business Development and Relationship Management teams on ad‑hoc requests (customer meetings, RFPs, target lists, trend analysis). Act as the voice of the customer for target industries in the product roadmap and strategy discussions. Build a strong internal network across key stakeholders and foster alignment around the digital vertical strategy. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in a strategy function, product‑marketing, product commercialization, Go‑to‑Market strategy, or within a digital‑first or software‑led B2C business. Experience contributing to strategic decision‑making, comfortable with trade‑off assessment, and proactive in driving priorities. Preferred background in technology (AI, productivity, security, advertising, education), media (streaming, publishing, social), or digital health. Demonstrated ability to build consensus, engage stakeholders, and influence cross‑functional teams. Strong communication skills, including speaking in panels, webinars, and on stage at events. Proficient analytical and project management skills. Willingness to travel globally for events and customer meetings. Basic educational requirement: bachelor’s degree. Preferred additional experience: familiarity with payments or fintech, software, technology, and media businesses. Compensation Good faith estimated annual salary range on hire: $108,200.00–$163,400.00. Final compensation will consider experience, skills, and education. Worldpay is an equal opportunity employer.
