Sales Account Executive

Position Overview

Beny Sofer is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Executive to expand our fine jewelry wholesale business and strengthen relationships with retail partners nationwide. This role is responsible for managing and growing an established portfolio of accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused sales professional with deep industry knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in the diamond and fine jewelry sector.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Relationship Development

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing wholesale accounts to drive long-term partnership growth and customer loyalty.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to retail partners by understanding their business objectives and recommending product solutions that support their success.
  • Monitor account performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

Business Development

  • Prospect, identify, and secure new wholesale accounts through networking, referrals, industry outreach, and market research.
  • Conduct sales presentations, product showcases, and client meetings to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective accounts and business opportunities.

Sales Strategy & Performance

  • Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining profitability goals.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership regarding market opportunities, customer needs, and sales initiatives.

Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and account information within company systems.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
  • Ensure timely processing of orders, agreements, and customer documentation.
  • Track sales metrics and provide insights to support business planning and decision-making.

Industry Events & Travel

  • Travel regularly to meet with wholesale customers, present product collections, and strengthen account relationships.
  • Represent Beny Sofer at trade shows, industry events, and market appointments.
  • Support retail partners through trunk shows, in-store events, and consumer-facing sales opportunities.
  • Participate in major industry trade shows, including booth setup, client engagement, lead generation, and follow-up activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in wholesale sales, account management, or business development within the diamond and fine jewelry industry.
  • Direct experience in the diamond and jewelry industry is required ; candidates without industry experience will not be considered.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and growing customer accounts.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business software applications, with the ability to analyze sales data and generate reports is required.
  • Highly computer-savvy and skilled in learning and utilizing new systems, software, and technologies.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to evolving business needs, product offerings, and industry trends.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, trunk shows, and trade events.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday through Friday.

Job Type : Full-time

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
