About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start) Must-Have: Must have permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty Active certifications required at the time of submission Description: This position requires night shifts of 3 - 12 hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. The candidate must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience. An active Ohio license or a compact state license is required prior to applying. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory, and the candidate must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start. A recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission. Candidates must have successful completion of the ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. You will receive two attempts to pass each assessment; failure to do so will result in cancellation. Background checks will be reviewed, and travelers with open cases or license hits will not be accepted. There are no nicotine-free requirements for nursing staff at this time. A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of the start date. Candidates cannot return within one year of their previous end date if they worked for this facility in the past. All references must be from assignments worked in the last 12 months. Required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of application. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements until further notice.
