Job Description

The Department of Pediatrics at the  University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated and passionate  General Pediatrician to join our dynamic academic medical community. This full-time faculty position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality  outpatient pediatric care to a diverse patient population while playing an essential role in  medical education and mentorship . As an  attending physician in the pediatric resident continuity clinic , you will work closely with residents and medical students, fostering clinical excellence and professional development in a supportive and forward-thinking academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver  comprehensive outpatient general pediatric care in a high-volume academic setting.
• Serve as  attending faculty in the resident continuity clinic , providing supervision, feedback, and hands-on teaching.
• Educate and mentor  pediatric residents and medical students , both in clinical and didactic settings.
• Participate in  curriculum development, quality improvement , and educational innovation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure  family-centered, evidence-based care .
• Engage in  scholarly activities consistent with personal interests and departmental goals.

Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. degree with  Board Certification or Eligibility in General Pediatrics .
• Eligible for  Florida medical licensure .
• Demonstrated commitment to  clinical excellence , teaching, and academic service.
• Experience in an academic or teaching environment is preferred, but early-career applicants with strong teaching interest are encouraged to apply.
