Patent Agent Position

Our client seeks a patent agent to join their Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group. Candidates should demonstrate high academic achievement, relevant law firm, engineering, or industry experience, and exceptional writing and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution, with a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or physics. Key responsibilities include managing patent prosecution processes related to electrical engineering and software technologies, such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, neural networks, telecommunications (including 5G and 6G), autonomous vehicles, RF circuitry, and hardware or communication security measures like encryption. The position requires a strong understanding of patent law and technical expertise in these fields to effectively draft and prosecute patents. Compensation ranges from $140,000 to $250,000, depending on experience, reflecting the seniority and specialization of the role.
