Job Title: Screw Machine Operator Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Screw Machine Operator to join our team for the 1st shift from 7 am to 3:15 pm. The role involves operating and adjusting screw machines, inspecting finished parts using basic measurement devices, and following written instructions to complete proper documentation.

• Operate and adjust screw machines efficiently.
• Inspect finished parts using basic measurement devices.
• Follow written instructions and complete proper documentation.
• Operate multiple-spindle screw machines.
• Check tolerances and use measurement tools.
• Adjust cutting speeds as necessary.

• 2 years of machine operating experience.
• Ability to read tape measure accurately.
• Experience with Davenport, Acme, or Hydromat machines.

• Proficiency in machine operation and general production.
• Strong inspection skills using a tape measure.

The work is conducted in a machine shop environment, which can be greasy and slippery due to the screw machines. Safety protocols are a priority to ensure a secure and productive workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zeeland, MI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Zeeland,MI.
