Project Coordinator

Summary: The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing customers with excellent service, maintaining internal and external relationships and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position will work Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm and is in office. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Understand customer sales needs and requirements to develop the project including what is needed for a successful quote. Manage price efforts to ensure timely quote responses, meeting customer expectations and profitability requirements of the business. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure. Close phone sales and provide exceptional customer service. Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest. Must have the ability to manage multiple accounts, identify customer concerns and needs, and maintain rapport with a fixed customer base. Maintain and expand your database of prospects. Work with new and existing customers and or Sales Representatives to provide personalized guidance and support to create packaging designed to meet their needs. Strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to interface and communicate appropriately. You will be trusted to work independently to meet the needs of all parties, including the customer and company. Must be able to support various elements of the position, including Inventory Management, direct Customer Communications, and supporting of the Sales team. Answer customer service telephone calls, e-mail, and other correspondence and take appropriate action in a prompt and professional manner. Create order plans, process manufacturing orders, and enter customer releases as needed. Create and submit detailed estimate reports or bids, making sure they’re clear, thorough, and sent to the right people for review and approval. Review job costing upon completion, comparing actual to estimated costs helping to refine future estimates and improve accuracy in the long run. Communicates with operations to maintain accurate flow of scheduling and customer needed information. Enter and maintain customer records in tracking systems. Other projects/responsibilities as assigned. Position Requirements: Must be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced office and factory environment. Detail-oriented. Passionate about design and knowledgeable about the industry, trends, and marketplace. Exceptional written, verbal and visual communication skills. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. Strong time management skills (with solid multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skills). Able to work within tight deadlines. Demonstrates a high degree of flexibility and a can-do attitude. Strong business acumen.
