This is a full-time position requiring onsite work, primarily in clients' homes throughout Miami. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patients' specific rehabilitative needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to facilitate recovery and improve movement.
• Maintain patient records with precision using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to document progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journeys, building strong therapeutic relationships that promote trust and adherence to therapy.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal care delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members, including physicians, occupational therapists, and social workers, to deliver integrated patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on lifestyle modifications and exercises to enhance long-term wellness and prevent injuries.
• Engage in professional development, attending workshops and conferences to stay current with innovations in physical therapy practices and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Corehab, you will work with a diverse range of patients across various demographics, focusing on those requiring home health rehabilitation. Your clients may include individuals recovering from surgery, people living with chronic pain, athletes seeking to regain peak performance, and elderly patients striving to maintain their independence and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean record free of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional knowledge and skills in various manual therapy techniques, coupled with a solid understanding of movement science.
• Effective communication skills that facilitate teamwork and patient education.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as a licensed Physical Therapist, with a focus on outpatient care settings.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
• Demonstrated success in developing tailored exercise programs that address individual patient needs and goals.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
