Work Environment

This role is performed onsite in the homes of our patients across Miami, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' conditions, recognizing their specific needs and limitations in a home care setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the utilization of specialized equipment.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring all evaluations and adjustments to treatment plans comply with best practices and legal standards.
• Reassess goals regularly, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal patient recovery and mobility.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and family members regarding therapeutic practices and assistive devices as necessary to enhance self-care and increase mobility.
• Maintain your professional development through ongoing education, attending workshops, and networking within the physical therapy community to stay updated on the latest practices and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists work with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, encompassing various conditions from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. This role requires not only clinical knowledge but also a compassionate approach to foster trust and rapport with patients in their homes, enhancing their recovery chances in a comfortable setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with patients and their families.
• Proficient computer and word processing skills for accurate documentation and communication.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varied needs and conditions of patients.

Preferred Experience

• Previous home health experience is not required, but is considered advantageous.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and understanding different rehabilitation needs will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Dreamer Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
