This position operates in a remote capacity, offering a flexible work schedule primarily from Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. You will conduct sessions via telehealth platforms and maintain consistent communication with both clients and colleagues. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to craft tailored treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance overall recovery.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care for holistic client support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Unity Point, you will primarily serve clients dealing with a variety of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. These clients often come from diverse backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Your insights and interventions will be vital in helping them navigate their challenges and achieve a healthier, more balanced life.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.
