Embrace the opportunity to grow within a historical organization and play an important part in our institution!WHAT TO EXPECT AS OUR CHEF DE CUISINEYou'll work closely with our executive chef to develop fresh seasonal menus, manage the daily food service operations, and ensure consistency, quality, and safety across all dining areas. You'll lead your team in delivering efficient meal service and train staff as needed to continue elevating and improving our culinary efforts. Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to):Supporting the executive chef in maintaining high food quality, safety, and presentation standards across all the club's dining outletsOverseeing vital kitchen activities like food purchasing, receiving, and rotatingMaintaining an organized and well-stocked food inventoryCoordinating prep schedules based on the upcoming day's dining needsEffectively training, supervising, and motivating line cooks and prep cooksEnforcing strict food safety and sanitation standards to ensure the kitchen is always clean, organized, and inspection-readyAssisting with menu creation, culinary programming, and additional duties as neededWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORTo become our Chef de Cuisine, you must have:3+ years of progressive culinary experience with a private club, hotel, or upscale restaurantExperience placing food orders, managing inventory, and tracking costsStrong culinary techniques and food knowledgeAbility to stand for extended periods and lift 50 poundsProven leadership and mentorship skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailSolid communication and interpersonal skillsTHIS COULD BE THE START OF SOMETHING GREAT!Ready to join a team where your work matters, your potential gets noticed, and your growth is supported?Click below to apply using our initial application and take that first step towards becoming our Chef de Cuisine!Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.
