An independently owned family medicine practice in Cape Girardeau, Missouri is seeking a FNP for a full-time outpatient role with a genuine four-day workweek — Monday through Thursday, three-day weekends every week, no rounding, no inpatient duties, no overnight call. This is a whole-person, integrated primary care setting with behavioral health, chiropractic care, a registered dietitian, and in-house lab on-site — where new graduates are actively welcomed with mentorship built in and experienced providers have real room to grow and lead. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries across the lifespan Manage chronic medical conditions with a longitudinal, relationship-based approach Perform comprehensive physical exams and Medicare Annual Wellness Visits Provide preventive care and men's and women's health evaluations Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing Prescribe medications per Missouri state law Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention Coordinate care with specialists and community resources Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on quality improvement Qualifications Active Missouri APRN license or eligibility to obtain FNP certification (AANP or ANCC) required DEA registration or ability to obtain BLS certification required Family medicine or primary care experience preferred New graduates welcome — mentorship and collaborative onboarding provided Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and team-oriented attitude Schedule & Compensation $115,000–$140,000/year + productivity and performance incentives Signing bonus + relocation assistance (if applicable) Full-time | Four 10-hour shifts | Monday–Thursday Outpatient only | On-site Cape Girardeau, MO Medical, dental, vision | Life insurance | 401(k) with matching PTO + paid holidays | CEU allowance | Paid licensure & DEA renewal Professional membership reimbursement | Malpractice covered Immediate hire #J-18808-Ljbffr NPHire
