Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking three dedicated professionals to provide instruction in self-contained behavior programs for 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade classrooms. These positions are based onsite at an elementary school near Peoria, AZ, with full-time hours during the academic year from August 3rd, 2026 through May 26th, 2027 (dates subject to change).

You’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of 10-15 students per class, primarily with eligibility categories such as Other Health Impairment (often ADHD and ODD), Autism, and Emotional Disabilities. While most students are cognitively capable, they face challenges related to behavioral disruptions, which impact their performance.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona educator certification for Special Education
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience teaching in self-contained behavior support programs
• Strong understanding of behavioral intervention strategies
• Ability to adapt curriculum for students performing below grade level

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instructional plans to meet diverse academic and behavioral needs
• Implement evidence-based interventions designed for behavioral support
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom climate where students feel safe and engaged
• Collaborate with support staff and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and documentation
