• Greet and check-in/out patients in a friendly, professional manner
• Answer phone calls, texts, emails, and online inquiries
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using office software
• Track missed appointments and follow up to reschedule
• Verify insurance information and explain coverage, copays, and payment options
• Collect payments, process transactions, and maintain accurate financial records
• Manage patient records, update personal and medical information, and ensure confidentiality compliance (e.g., HIPAA)
• Coordinate with the team to keep the daily schedule running smoothly
• Handle patient intake forms and obtain consents
• Assist with billing tasks, insurance claims, and pre-authorizations
• Maintain reception area cleanliness and organization
• Address patient concerns or complaints and escalate issues when needed
• Support administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
