Job Description

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve their unique functional goals
• Implement Effective Interventions: Employ research-supported methodologies to enhance patients' mobility, cognitive abilities, and daily routines
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with other healthcare providers, including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff, to provide holistic and comprehensive care
• Teach Patients and Families: Educate patients and their loved ones on therapeutic techniques to facilitate ongoing progress in a home setting
• Track and Assess Progress: Monitor outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients are on the right path to recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) credential required
