Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

$2284.80/week - Job Summary: Seeking a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) to join the ER Laboratory team at a fast-paced Fast-Serve Emergency Department. This role involves performing point-of-care testing, specimen processing, and supporting lab operations to ensure timely and accurate results. Responsibilities: Conduct daily maintenance, quality control, and calibrations on laboratory analyzers. Perform patient testing, waived and non-waived, utilizing a variety of lab equipment. Process specimens, including ordering tests, centrifuging samples, and preparing send-outs. Support lab supply management and routine cleaning of lab surfaces. Collaborate professionally with clinical staff and accurately document results in EMR. Adhere to all lab safety protocols in compliance with CLIA and CAP standards. Qualifications: Require MLS or MLT certification through ASCP or equivalent. Have at least 2 years of experience in a hospital laboratory setting. Demonstrate proficiency with analyzers such as Siemens Dimension EXL, Sysmex 1000, Roche Clineteck, and others. Prefer candidates with experience using EPIC EMR system. Capable of working independently with strong communication skills. Must be willing to perform clerical duties as assigned.
